Most manufactured homes use a downflow air handler in a closet, feeding a trunk duct that runs under the floor. That duct sits below the home, where animals, wind and water can get at it. A torn belly wrap or a disconnected crossover duct between the two halves of a double-wide can dump a big share of your cooled air under the house.
